Exporting Site Stats from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Jetpack

Google Analytics

Google Search Console

Google Search Console provides information on the performance of The Skyscraper Museum’s website on Google. It gives metrics on the most popular search queries, top web pages, and visitor countries and devices. Unlike Google Analytics, Search Console provides data specific to Google searches.

To export stats:

  1. Log-in to Google Search Console with theskyscrapermuseum@gmail.com.
  2. On the left side menu, navigate to Performance.
  3. Select a Date Range.
  4. Export the data.

Jetpack

Jetpack is a plugin installed on the main site within the WordPress Multi-site installation. It has a Premium license that provides additional features, including site stats.

We can only see Jetpack Site Stats by fixed periods: past 7 days, 30 days, quarter, year, and all time.

To export Site Stats:

  1. Log-in to the WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to JetpackDashboard.
  3. View More stats on WordPress.com. This action will open a new window to WordPress.com
  4. Navigate to Traffic.
  5. Click on Posts and Pages.
  6. Filter by the desired period: 7 days, 30 days, Quarter, Year, All Time.
  7. Scroll down and Download data as CSV.

These stats do not include visits to the other network sites (e.g. Housing Density, Supertall 2020) or to the legacy site. Jetpack requires additional Premium licenses for every site. Use only as additional data when Google Analytics fails to report on specific dates.
